The Wonder Project - Lesson 3
On Tuesday we had another Wonder Project Lesson and it was lesson 3. This one was different to the one we did last week because Colm our ambassador showed us a 1.5 litre bottle with water. We had a empty bottle. A bottle that has half water in it, and a bottle that had full water in it. Colm showed us what was the meaning of that activity and he had a sheet underneath those bottles and what he did next was was he pulled the sheet and all of the bottle didn't fall because he said if you pull it really fast then none of them would fall. Then some other kids got to have a try and some of them got it right and some only knocked down one.
Next we went in our group and the people that where in our group was Flo, Asmah, Aice, Emrico and we had to grab a whiteboard and a whiteboard maker and we had to draw a rocket and ours were pretty good then we went to the 1.5 litre bottles and I had a turn pulling the sheet and only one went down. Then we went back to the floor and the teachers took pictures of the drawings we draw. Then we went back to class and our teacher gave us a plain paper of a rocket on it and we had to design it and when we had finished we would go back to our groups had to pick the best design and we picked Emricos but Aice added a window in the middle and that was our lesson 3.

The Wonder Project- Test Launch
Hello Blogger's,
This week, for The Wonder Project, we looked at Health & safety Also we had a test Launch. We went to Keith Hay Park for our test run. What we needed for our test run was a 1.5 litre bottle & fins for the sides. Keti & Justin, got to launch the rocket with Cole and Cole is a scientist and we were so lucky that he took the time to do the Wonder Project with us. When we got to Keith Hay park Keti & Justin & Cole settled up for there first launch and we were all it was cheering and off it went and it went high and it was Awesome.
For our Health & Safety we watched a video from Rocket lab and it told us things that we needed to know for launching our rocket and our PSI limit was 60 and PSI stands for pound per square inch. We needed a air pump for it to go up and our PSI was 60 and 200 ml of water inside and the more the water that will be inside the lower it would be like it won't go that high because there is a lot water.

Food for thought
Hi blogger's,
Last week my class and I had a Food for thought session by Isabel from the heart foundation company. We did activities in our first session like labelling food that goes in milk and milk products and vegetables and fruit, And a long section that was Sea food, Chicken, Fish, Eggs, Nuts, Seeds, Beans, also a section for Breads & Cereals , also they were everyday foods. Then she told us about things that are sometimes foods, sometimes food are foods that have sugar so anything that has sugar it would be sometimes food. Then we had to do this activity and that activity was having random foods and we had the same section's like milk and mcilk products, fruits & vegetables, Sea food, Chicken, Fish, Eggs, Nuts, Seeds, Beans, Breads & cereals and sometimes section and we had to put the food in that section like if we picked up a food we would put it in the fruits & vegetables section.
